LCUL’s Compliance Department helps our member credit unions stay connected to the most current compliance and regulatory information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Numerous laws, regulations and administrative directives at both the state and federal level affect credit unions on a daily basis. Successful credit unions must remain connected to the most current legal and regulatory developments to integrate this information into their policies and procedures. The League has a variety of resources available to assist member credit unions in the areas of compliance, legal, and research services. Most of these programs and resources are provided as dues-supported services at no additional cost to your credit union.

InfoSight gives our member credit unions access to timely compliance information, as well as state and federal laws and regulations that affect a credit union's affairs, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Infosight is a comprehensive, searchable resource, offering detailed compliance information and Louisiana-specific guidance, useful to everyone at your credit union. We are committed to providing timely compliance information to our member credit unions. One of the tools we use to accomplish this goal is the InfoSight newsletter, distributed weekly via email. The newsletter features up-to-date compliance news, provides operational assistance through the use of FAQs or compliance Q&As, and highlights the upcoming compliance deadlines, as well as information on upcoming compliance-related education events. Managing your policies is about to get much easier! CU Policy Pro is your one-stop shop for over 200 policies to help your credit union manage today’s ongoing compliance and operational challenges. Beginning on February 18, 2013, Louisiana credit unions will receive access to this valuable product as part of the dues service package your credit union receives for affiliation with the Louisiana Credit Union League.
CU PolicyPro contains comprehensive policies and procedures developed and written especially for credit unions by regulatory (legal and financial) experts. CU PolicyPro is also completely customizable to the specific needs of each credit union. Existing credit union policies may easily be imported into the management system. CU PolicyPro uses an overall consistent format for clarity and ease of use, so you can find the information you need when you need it.
Because the laws and regulations that govern your credit union are constantly changing, our Update Service is also included with your manual. This service provides you with semi-annual policy updates and with a toll-free product support help line to call when you have questions.
